WAV Workshop Attendee Information

BraunAbility is thrilled with the opportunity to partner with The Transportation Alliance in hosting the May Open House. A very full two days are planned for the attendees. The WAV Workshop include a very diverse group of presenter and industry experts sharing valuable information to take back. To make the most of this experience possible, a comprehensive list of advance information is provided.

What To Know

  • Bring your questions for industry experts. 
  • Prepare for the energy of May in Indy = Race Month. You'll want to watch the video.
  • Transportation provided to/from host hotel for Day 2 (BraunAbility HQ, IMS) and Day 3 (Winamac Plant) 
  • Breakfast, lunches, snacks provided at hotel (breakfasts) and at the BraunAbility events.  Wednesday and Thursday evenings are open for personal plans.
  • Baggage storage available at the hotel.  

What To Pack

  • For the Welcome Reception: Come as you are. 
  • Day 2: For the Education Session, dress casually for office setting and outdoor activities at the race track. 
  • For the Group Event at the Speedway: pack walking shoes, sunscreen and for inclement weather.
  • For the Winamac Plant Tour: Dress code for manufacturing facilities.  Must have full-length pants and closed-toe shows.  Please, no photos or video on the tour.

When You Arrive

  • Bus will depart at 8:00 am on Wednesday and Thursday from the host hotel, Hyatt Place. 
  • If you’re driving Wed-Thu, you’ll see two BraunAbility buildings as you enter from the north (from Carmel Drive). WAV Workshop is at the HQ office in the southeast corner of the office campus.
