No Added Wheelchair Securement Straps Needed

This quick, easy to use securement does not require the use of wheelchair restraints that take up space in the vehicle and may be difficult for independent wheelchair users to operate. Simple and safe operation of the restraint saves you time and effort

This locking restraint offers a powered release that doesn't add bolts or pins to your manual wheelchair. Once your wheelchair is locked in, it will remain in an upright position and keep your chair safe and secure.  

No Added Brackets Needed

Secure your wheelchair with no added brackets or extra weight for the compatible chairs. Simply lock into place and your chair will be safe and secure while driving or riding from your vehicle seat. 

Easy Operation

The UWR makes your transfer in and out of your wheelchair safer and simpler than ever before. Once you are in your lowered-floor accessible vehicle or full-size van, with just one hand, pull the handle to unlock, lower, and release the handle to lock the mechanism into place. Trust that your chair will stay in the ideal transfer position for your safety and convenience.

The UWR has two ways to release your wheelchair, manually and powered. The UWR is equipped with a manual override lever in the center. This lever can be activated in the event of a power failure and gives you peace of mind knowing you'll always have easy access to your wheelchair.

UWR Warranty

The UWR has a limited 36-month parts and 12-month labor warranty. To protect your warranty, any repair or replacement work must be completed by a BraunAbility certified technician.
