Do you offer in-house evaluations?
We absolutely do. Whether you are in the market for a mobility scooter, portable ramp, wheelchair lift, or wheelchair accessible van, we understand your mobility challenges getting out and about. We can learn a little over the phone and then bring options to your home for you to try. Sometimes, we pick you up and bring you back to the store so you can try multiple options. Whatever your comfort level, we can accommodate you. Where are most vertical platform lifts located in a home?
How do you troubleshoot a wheelchair lift?
To troubleshoot a wheelchair lift you should inspect the power source, controls, and sensors to check for obstructions or worn/broken parts. If the problem persists, you should contact United Access.
What are the parts of a wheelchair lift?
A wheelchair lift typically consists of the lift platform, actuators, lift arms, lift mechanism, and drive system. Additional components may include switch safety interlocks, control boxes, and power supplies.
Does Medicare pay for wheelchair lifts?
