What Is a WAV?

A WAV is a wheelchair accessible vehicle featuring a ramp. Our pre-owned WAVs will help you get where you need to go with ease.

Side Entry vs. Rear Entry: Which should I get?

Side Entry Wavs

Don’t know which kind of WAV to get? We’ve got options. Our rear-entry and side-entry handicap vans are built with people with mobility challenges and their caregivers in mind, so you can get the vehicle that best suits your needs.

Rear-Entry Wavs

For people providing transportation for a wheelchair user, a rear- entry WAV may be the one to get. Rear-entry WAVs are ideal for wheelchair users who no longer drive, have larger wheelchairs, or cannot safely travel in the front seat.

We prefer to say “wheelchair accessible”

We acknowledge the phrase “handicapped van” is outdated; however, the phrases “handicapped van” and “handicap van” are  widely-used by  many. Our language reflects the language used by  our diverse customer base of people with and without disabilities, however we like to say, “wheelchair accessible”.
