Formerly Ability Center, our San Diego team has been providing mobility solutions and service since 1994 when Darrell Heath, founder of Ability Center, opened his first store in San Diego. Ability Center joined the United Access family in 2023 and is excited to continue to serve the broader southern California area.
United Access San Diego offers an extensive line of new and used BraunAbility and VMI wheelchair vans for sale or rent as well as mobility lifts, transfer seating, driving aids, and scooters. Our Service Department performs installation, preventative maintenance, and repair for mobility vehicles and equipment, as well as regular services like oil changes.
United Access also offers wheelchair van rentals in San Diego. Rentals are available for daily use, weekly, or monthly.
The San Diego team is well known in the disability community and includes fully trained service technicians, team members who use mobility equipment themselves, and experienced mobility consultants ready to offer you a full needs analysis over the phone or in person.
