Pair of Corvettes to be Auctioned for Foundation
If you've been looking for a vintage vehicle (or two) to add to your rare car collection, we know just what you need! Ralph Braun is auctioning off two very rare Corvettes tomorrow (Wednesday, Jan. 19) at the Barrett Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. Proceeds from the sale of the cars will be donated to The Ralph Braun Foundation, now called the National Organization for Vehicle Accessibility (NOVA).
If this seems like deja vu, that's because these same classic cars were auctioned off last September at the Barrett Jackson auction in Las Vegas. Longtime friend and dealer Bill Siebert bought the cars, and in an incredibly generous gesture, donated them back to NOVA.
Now the cars are up for auction again. If you'd like to watch, stay tuned to the Speed Channel after 7 p.m., EST. We don't know what time they'll sell, but we do know the cars are sold in order by lot number. Look for Lot #441 and #441.1
Help us spread the word! Every dollar earned by that sale and this one will benefit The Ralph Braun Foundation, which is in its formative stages. The foundation will help provide support to individuals who can't afford the mobility products they need, from wheelchair vans to wheelchair lifts and more. The organization is not yet taking grant applications, but you can check back on the Foundation's website or the AbilityVoice blog for updates.
We'll keep everyone updated on how this auction goes!
