United Access Handicapped Van Rental Process

Our handicapped van rentals are available to you at our locations throughout the United States and our rental prices are at very affordable rates. Our rental vans are fully powered side-entry conversions that are incredibly easy to use and are powered to deploy with just the touch of a key fob. Not only do the vehicles come with tie-down straps to secure the wheelchair, but also seat belts to ensure your loved one is safe and secure. Our vans can be configured to transport 1 or 2 wheelchairs or scooters, and our Rental Specialists will provide you with comprehensive van operation instructions and demonstrations at the time of rental pickup.

To rent one of our handicapped accessible vehicles, we require 4 simple requirements: 

1. The driver must be at least 21 years of age
   
2. They must hold a valid US driver’s license
3. They must have adequate collision and comprehensive auto insurance coverage
4. They must have a valid credit card to secure the reservation

In addition, we can provide supplemental insurance coverage for extra cost. Travel safely and with independence with our wheelchair accessible rental options.

Try a Handicapped Van Before You Buy Program

If you are in the market for a wheelchair accessible van but are not ready to purchase, our Try Before You Buy Program might be a solution for you. At United Access, we understand that investing in a wheelchair accessible van is a major purchase and we want to make sure you are completely satisfied before you make your decision. That is why we offer our Try Before You Buy Program, which allows you to rent one of our wheelchair accessible vans for short- or long-term use before committing to purchase. This allows you to the opportunity to test a wheelchair accessible vehicle option and learn more about the vehicle before you commit to purchasing your own. Within 90 days of your rental, if you decide to purchase a van from United Access, we will reimburse you up to $500 towards the purchase of your van.
