Ability Center takes pride in maintaining the latest wheelchair vans, handicap accessible vehicles, wheelchair ramps, wheelchair lifts, and other creative mobility products established by our industry association, NMEDA (National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association).
Ability Center realizes new handicap accessible technologies continue to broaden the opportunities that enhance the lives of those challenged to overcome limited mobility.
Not only are we NMEDA members in good standing, but we are also in the Quality Assurance Program (QAP). The QAP is a deeper commitment within NMEDA that requires semi-annual independent inspections along with detailed inspections of all work leaving our stores – including work on wheelchair vans, handicap accessible vehicles, handicap ramps, handicap lift vehicles and other equipment we install.
These inspections are done to assure quality practices in engineering, welding, installation, training of employees, insurance, record keeping and more.
These are all conducted under RADCO standards and each service job receives a RADCO label that ensures each step has been performed according to NMEDA guidelines and good practices. Ability Center is proud to be one of the first mobility dealers to participate and help create these quality standards for the mobility products industry. Ability Center is one of the only NMEDA qualified dealers in the Southwest United States with our stores in California, Nevada, and Arizona.
