Do you offer in home evaluations?
We absolutely do. Whether you are in the market for a mobility scooter, portable ramp, wheelchair lift of wheelchair accessible van, we understand your mobility challenges getting out and about. We can learn a little over the phone and then bring options to your home for you to try. Sometimes, we pick you up and bring you back to the store so you can try multiple options. Whatever your comfort level, we can accommodate.
Do you rent Wheelchair Accessible Vans?
Yes, we rent wheelchair accessible vans at all Ability Center locations and prices vary by location. We rent by the day, weekend, week and month; discounts are available for longer term rentals. Visit our rental center to learn more about our wheelchair van rentals.
Do you install controls to help me drive?
Yes, we sell, install and service all major manufacturers of hand controls and driving aids. From a simple push pull model to high tech controls for people with very limited mobility; we can help. If this is your first time researching hand controls, learn more about the process by clicking here.
Do you have wheelchair accessible vans in stock?
Yes, we typically stock 7-10 wheelchair accessible vans at each Ability Center location. Visit our online inventory of new and pre-owned accessible vehicles.
Should I purchase a new or used mobility van or equipment?
It depends. You can frequently obtain a pre-owned accessible vehicle loaded with all the options you want, to meet your specific needs and budget. However, let a Mobility Consultant assist in your selection.
Do you rent Scooters and Power Chairs?
Unfortunately no, Ability Center does not rent scooter, wheelchairs or power chairs. However, please call us and we would be happy to provide a referral to a local resource for scooter and power chair rentals. We do sell scooters and power wheelchairs and we stock them in all 14 Ability Center locations.
Do you have both used and new wheelchair vans in inventory?
Yes. Visit our online inventory of new and used wheelchair accessible vehicles. We typically have something from $18,000 – $80,000 in stock.
