Wheelchair Van & Wheelchair Lift Customer Feedback

It's easy to say that you prioritize customer satisfaction, but many companies have a tough time proving it. At BraunAbility, we get glowing feedback about our dealers and our products all the time. Here's a sampling of what some of our wheelchair van and wheelchair lift owners have to say:

I want to thank you and the crew at my BraunAbility dealership for listening to and delivering a vehicle which services my wife's needs. I have never written a favorable testimonial in my 72 years. I must be getting soft in my old age. I was in the investment field for over 30 years and had never purchased an investment as rewarding as this. This vehicle has let my wife and I continue our travelings which is a major part of her recovery. We have just finished buying our second BraunAbility custom-converted Toyota Sienna from Access Options of Watsonville. I cannot speak highly enough of their staff, service and equipment. The staff was sensitive, attentive and knowledgeable of my wife's wants, needs and desires. This means a lot to me. Need I say more!!!!!!!!!!

My story isn't glamorous or exciting, but I think it's a story that shares the Braun Corporation's vision of promoting independence.

I was in need of a new wheelchair accessible vehicle. I've been a wheelchair user for almost 40 years. During those years I drove cars - transferring myself and lifting my wheelchair in and out of my car maybe a million times during those years. I was approaching my 50th birthday and decided it was time to buy myself an Entervan. I wanted to make my life easier and start saving my shoulders for the future.

After I had my van for a few months, I started to notice some changes. I started to feel like I had more energy for the things I like to do! I also made all of my stops for errands on my way home - not just the most necessary ones.

Little did I know what the near future would bring. I tore my rotator cuff and I needed to use a power wheelchair for three months to allow my shoulder to heal. If I would not have had my Entervan, I would not have been able to get to and from work or anywhere for that matter! Having my van helped me, kept me going and allowed my shoulder to get better.

Which brings me back to the start of my story. It may not be glamorous or exciting, but I'm happy to tell how this wheelchair van provides my access to the world.

After 20 years of taking my wheelchair wheels off and putting them back on, getting hot in the summer and cold in the winter, trying not to get wet when it's raining or snowing, having aches and pains and on and on... I decided there had to be an easier way to get around. I went to my mobility dealer and described my situation. They suggested a van, and I said I didn't like being up in the air on a lift. Then they told me all about the Braun Entervan. I decided that might be the right vehicle for my needs... and I was right! Just wish it hadn't taken me so long to realize!

I have owned my Entervan for three years, and this is how it has changed and improved my life. It has given me the freedom to explore the limits of my disability. Now I do not have to depend on others to drive me to my destination, whether it's a trip to the mall or a doctor's visit or a vacation. The ramp on the Entervan lets me bring my wheelchair right up to the steering wheel, and my hand controls let me drive away as free as a bird. The leather seats help me slide easily behind the wheel too! I love this van!

Dear Braun:

The Entervan has certainly changed my life. It's given me a way to travel with comfort and ease. Before we purchased the Entervan, it was very monotonous to transport me from one place to another. In our old handicap van, my parents had to unfold a lift and lower it to the ground. It was a tiring three or four-minute process, and often required my parents to lift me in and out. My parents couldn't do this all the time, and I was stuck in my house on days I wanted to go out.

We needed an accessible vehicle that provided a comfortable way to travel, and the Entervan has done that. The ramp unfolds quickly and efficiently, so I can easily drive in and stay in my wheelchair. This not only makes me more comfortable, but it takes a load of stress of my parents' shoulders and saves valuable time.

Last but not least, I want to sincerely thank everyone at Braun for their hard work and dedication to help those with physical ailments and for making my life easier. I am forever grateful for this wonderful vehicle.

In November of 2010, I took delivery of a 2011 Toyota Sienna XLE Rampvan, which I purchased from Ride-Away in Beltsville, Maryland.

At the age of 18, I suffered a spinal cord injury from an auto accident. I was rendered a paraplegic; however I was lucky to still have some use of the front quad muscles of my legs. Because of this, I was able to be mobile with short leg braces and crutches. Nonetheless, 50 years of being a paraplegic has taken it's toll on my body. For my 69th birthday I gave myself a big present and ordered the Braun Rampvan and a Pride Jazzy electric power chair so I could extend my mobility and maintain my independence for as long as possible.

I went to Ride-Away and was very impressed by your conversion of the Toyota Sienna Rampvan. The blending of the external additional bodywork into the Sienna's design is thoughtful, creative and executed very well. The internal fit and finish is exceptional, and you are to be commended for taking into consideration the final appearance of the accessible van. The overall look was not compromised because of its utilitarian purpose.

I am very pleased, and I thank you for your perseverance to help yourself and others.

I received a new Dodge wheelchair van from MITS of Virginia (that stands for Mobility Indpendent Transportation Systems, Inc.). They are in Waynesboro, Virginia. The sales man helped us find just the right van. It is a dark blue one with a ramp.

My mom didn't tell me we were getting it sooner than I thought. She surprised me by picking me up at school early. Then she and I went to get my new van!!!

Our first trip in the new van was to Florida for Christmas. I rode with my mom and dad. Both of my brothers, Andrew and Jon, also came with us. We were very comfortable. It has all the things we needed for the long trip. It has a radio and CD player. It also has separate heaters so we all can control our own temperatures. We can watch movies too on our portable DVD players. My mom's favorite part of the van is the "butt warmers" (seat warmers)!

We take my wheelchair van around town all the time. My mom takes me to my doctor appointments and the grocery store. Sometimes we go out to eat in the van too. I really like my new van. The best thing about it is I can sit up front!!!

Thanks everybody for helping me get my new van! I LOVE IT!

Part of going the extra mile is patience and perseverance. Thanks to forward-thinkers, such as you, opportunities arise to benefit mankind. I truly began to live a life of freedom when mobility products became available. Once I was introduced to Braun handicap vans, I truly understood there is someone out there with integrity and compassion for the disabled community. My wife and I have enjoyed Braun Entervans since 2000. Our first had some 280,000 miles of eye-opening freedom and ease of movement. We just purchased our second Entervan last July. In the meantime, we have enjoyed a friendship with our dealer at Newby-Vance Mobility in Guthrie, Oklahoma, who shares your commitment to the disabled community.

Someday I hope my wife and I will have the opportunity to meet you and tour your facility. Thank you again for your entrepreneurial spirit and continued desire to bring independence and freedom to others.

My husband had a stroke 10 years ago and since then I have met many considerate and helpful people. I want you to know that I am placing your name at the top of that list. I cannot thank you enough for going the "extra mile"!

Just a note to let you know how happy I am with my Entervan! I have already owned two accessible vehicles, but this has been my favorite because of all its features. I want you to know you've made my life easier and more independent. I am 74 years old and get to my place of business to work every day! God bless you and your wonderful staff!

I imagine you receive testimonials about your mobility equipment on occasion, but I wanted to add mine as well. My Entervan has almost 100,000 miles on it. I've enjoyed it very much over these last seven years. Your wheelchair van makes it possible for me to do my work as a pastor at my local church. It is a quality product and the dealers I have dealt with have been very responsive.

I have Spinal Muscular Atrophy like you do, and I just wanted to say thank you for finding a way to use your "difference" to make life better for others who deal with daily mobility problems. Independence is a great gift and I thank you fro being one of those who make it possible to help keep the rest of us moving.

Thank you for this contribution to my life!

Within the first five minutes of driving the new Entervan, I noticed my son was a lot more talkative than normal. It was like he was seeing the world for the first time.

Our van has given our son a new life and taken some of our constant worry about his welfare away. Thank you!
