I am a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania, OH, and director of Canticle Studio, a creative center focusing on spirituality, wholeness and health. I have lived with multiple sclerosis (MS) since 1975 and now consult, write and lecture on chronic disease and coping strategies. In 2005 I created Holy Aromas, (www.allgoodthingsosf.org) a line of earth-friendly soap products. A freelance writer, I contribute a monthly column for Healthy Living News (local) and a regular column, “Nobody’s Perfect,” for Real Living with Multiple Sclerosis. I have been published by Abbey Press, The Way of St. Francis magazine, and Momentum, the official magazine of the National MS Society. My essays and articles have appeared in numerous religious publications, health periodicals, and business journals. I was the first person with MS to chair the Northwestern Ohio Chapter of the National MS Society Board of Trustees. I hold a Masters Degree in choral performance (M. Mus.) from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio, and taught secondary school for 16 years. I love music, film and to play cocktail piano at various fundraisers. One of my life goals is to write a book.
