Doug Schumacker

I recently joined Braun as the new Director of Marketing after 25 years with the General Motors Corporation in a variety of positions. I spent some quality time in the Oldsmobile division, helping to reposition the brand, recreate the product-line, and then launch the Alero sport coupe and sedan. I moved up to the Cadillac division to launch the first generation CTS luxury sport sedan. I helped create and launch the V-series line of super, high-performance vehicles and developed several specialty vehicles and a global e-business along the way. I may be new to Braun, but I'm not new to Indiana or the automotive industry. I grew up in Indiana and completed my education in Bloomington, so this is a little bit like coming home. My family and I are still getting settled into our new home in West Lafayette. We’re very excited to be here, and I’m very excited about the opportunity to help more people regain their mobility.
