UVL Series™
The UVL, or Under Vehicle Lift, is the wheel chair lift for those who demand the best of everything. With these wheel chairlifts mounted underneath the vehicle, they remain out of sight and out of your way until needed. That means easy access for ambulatory passengers and cargo, a clear side view for the driver while traveling and maximum interior space for passengers – something your friends and family will appreciate on every trip.
The BraunAbility UVL Series mobility lifts are elctric in operation for both the in/out cycle and the outboard roll stop. The up/down cycle is hydraulic in operation. All functions are controlled by the standard hand-held control or the optional remote control.
The UVL Series is designed for installation at the side of personal-use vans. Installation of the UVL mobility lift in a rear wheel drive vehicle may require modification to the van's drive shaft - consult your BraunAbility Dealer for details.

Platform
The UVL Series is available in two different models. The UVL601C has 72 cm of usable width and 109 cm of usable length. The UVL603C has 76 cm of usable width and 122 cm of usable length.
Outboard Roll Stop
For your safety, the electric roll stop raises to the vertical position before the mobility lift platform leaves the ground. Special sensors prevent the platform from raising if the roll stop is not fully engaged.
Inboard Roll Stop
The automatic inboard roll stop serves as a bridge from the platform to the vehicle floor. As a safety feature, platform operation is prevented if the inboard roll stop is occupied.
Hand-Held Control
The standard hand-held control's clearly labeled switches make lift operation simple and straightforward. For greater convenience, an optional remote control system is available.
Hydraulic Power Pack
The hydraulic power pack for these mobility lifts is mounted inside the vehicle, out of the elements. In the event of vehicle electrical failure, the UVL can be operated with the manual backup pump.
Storage Compartment
The aluminum under-vehicle storage compartment is weather-resistant to protect these mobility lifts from the elements. Installation of the UVL in a rear wheel drive vehicle may require modification to the van's drive shaft - consult your BraunAbility Dealer for details.
Lift Arms
The dual lifting arms are activated hydraulically, providing a stable and strong lifting environment.
Optional Door Operators
The optional automatic door operators give you complete control of your mobility. The doors can be opened and closed with all standard and optional lift controls.
